SriKalahasthi:
This is about my visit to Sri Kalahasthi with my friend Shri LV Rajarathnam, seeking the divine blessings of Kalahastheeswarar. Located 46 Kms northwest of TADA in chennai - Kolkata route, (total distance approx 125 kilometers) this temple is One of the Pancha bootha Sthalams- for Vayu (air). The other pancha bootha sthalams are Kancheepuram ( land), Tiruvannamalai (agni), Chidambaram( sky) and Tiruvanaikkoil( Water). The flame behind kalahastheeswara vibrate as if wind is blowing. Kannappa nayanar gave his eyes to lord here and was blessed.
